This was originally a commission for Northwest Martial Arts. Each age group has a different animal representation. And for some reason, school of the raccoon was the most difficult portrait to complete. Many many iterations trying to find a balance between abstract representationalism and geometric form. Compromises were made. Grateful I got to learn some new Brazilian Jujitsu AND design skills!
