Been contemplating the heat death of the universe way too much lately - and how we’re little agents of entropy. This piece is a deconstruction of pattern and geometry. Layers of stained birch and wood glue, nested in a metal frame. The top layer is one continuous sheet of birch ply; I found the grain absolutely beautiful and wanted to preserve as much as destroy. Might do similar work in the future, but for now this is a one-off.
